Inspired by the XMAS COMICS & GAMES fair (December 17 and 18 at Lingotto)
and in cooperation with Imperial Crown Alliance, Supermarket and Torino Comics,
the one and only real tribute-bands festival, the GODS OF TRIBUTE is back.
On stage, the tribute-bands to three line-ups who have extensively contributed
in the Rock Music history to the Comics fandom's universe (With science fiction
& horror movie soundtracks, action-figures, comics, videogames and cosplay)
and, furthermore, other amazing surprises for the audience...!!!
AC/DC have always played a leading role in many Sci-Fi & Horror soundtracks,
like "Last action hero", "Maximum overdrive" and "Iron Man 2", in videogames
as "Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero", not forgetting the action-figure dedicated
to Angus Young and to Brian Johnson by McFarlane Toys and by Neca.
THIN LIZZY played in many soundtracks too, as "In the name of the Father",
"Rush" and "Toy story", in videogames like "Grand Theft Auto" and "Guitar
Hero" and we should also mention the Sci-Fi and comics covers of almost all
of their albums, specially designed for them by the irish artist Jim FitzPatrick.
Finally, IRON MAIDEN have been included in soundtracks as "Phenomena"
and "Murder by numbers", their mascotte "Eddie" has played the leading role
of videogames like "Ed Hunter", "Speed of light" and "Legacy of the Beast",
of the NFL comics, of the action-figures by McFarlane Toys, by Neca and by
Art Asylum, as well as of various animatronics, popped up on stage 'till now.
